Bierstacheln is a very old tradition whereby a red hot poker is gently stirred into a cold Bock to grow a thick, creamy, toasted-marshmallow head. This is the best way to drink a strong beer on a cool fall day.

SATURDAY: Tapping the Holzfass at the fire ring at noon. Stacheln (or “sticking”) will begin immediately and continue until 5pm.

SUNDAY: Bierstacheln at the fire ring from noon-3pm.
